You can setup 3 monitors on a laptop by using a Lenovo USB-C Dock with most laptops

Which has these connections
- Power Connection
- usb-c connection to the laptop
- 2 x Display Port
- 1 x HDMI
- 4 x USB 3.0
- Ethernet
+ one more usb-c and and USB 3.0 output ports
We connected 3 monitors, even through they did not have Display Port we were able to connect them to the monitors by using a V7 DP to HDMI/VGA/DVI Adapter
