Here it is. The soundtrack to series of Star Wars novels named Shadows of the Empire. Often credited to the games of the same name. But only certain themes from the soundtrack appear in those games, as do many themes from the main movies. But what Star Wars soundtrack, written by John Williams or inspired by an original composer, would be complete without tribute to specific themes to the great works from the original films themselves?

This song is no different. Starting off with the most familiar of all Star Wars icons, the opening theme. But to set the time of the story, it boldly reminds the listener of events past, quickly setting the mood with some of the more powerful themes from the Empire Strikes Back.
