The Leopard 2 PSO, while not substantially different from the Leopard 2A5, has a new engine adding 130 horsepower and 400 rpm. This upgrade makes the tank more responsive and agile than the standard in spite of the add-on armor. It's hard to grasp the difference from the stats page, but it feels different. Great tank, and a great refresher to an old and rather unloved lineup.
