How many notes does it take to actually make a chord? Do you know the answer? Well, if you don't know then I'll provide the answer; it is Three. Two notes produce an "interval" but three notes are needed to create the complete harmony for a chord (a triad chord).
In this lesson, I'll break down the power behind knowing triad harmony, and how to apply it for composing and for improvisation. We'll run through basic triad neck theory and we'll explore my "tried and true" Triad system that I've used for years to help hundreds of guitarists totally nail this awesome sound on the guitar!
It doesn’t take long to get good at these "3-note wonders." And, it's especially helpful if you know how to apply them within a key signature's full diatonic harmony, (which I go through in detail).
In this video, I’m going to show you the best triad harmony practice technique that I know. And, you can start implementing it into your training right now to start seeing fast changes - for the better - in the way that your guitar riffs sound.
With the right application, (I'll show you how to do it from 2-note intervals up to the 3-note triads), your ability to perform awesome riffs and killer improvisations is waiting right around the corner!
