In this video I made some perfect baby back ribs, on my Char-Griller Grand Champ XD offset smoker. Patience is key on this one, and here is the easy process:
-Remove membrane from the bone side
-season ribs on all sides with your favorite rib rub
-preheat your offset smoker to 225-250ºf with lump charcoal and hardwoods
-smoke rib rack for 3 hours (spritz optional every hour)
-wrap in 2 layers of heavy duty tin foil with: butter, honey, rub, and apple juice for 1 hour
- remove the foil, add a light layer of preheated bbq sauce, and throw back on the smoker for 15-30 minutes until the sauce tightens up
-allow meat to rest for 10-20 minutes before slicing
-Share and Devour
