The second of Leeds Civic Trust's lunchtime lectures held each Wednesday in February 2021 focuses on wholesale and retail markets and exchanges established in the Leeds in the Victorian era. Many of the buildings sadly no with us, but the lecture (with images) provides a fascinating reminder of the hustle and bustle of 19th century Leeds when the markets took centre stage.
