President Droupadi Murmu visited her home state Odisha for the first time after assuming office in July. When she reached Puri, the President stopped the convoy and chose to walk on foot. Murmu walked for 2km to reach the famous Puri Jagannath temple to offer prayers and seek blessings. On the way, she waved to many devotees and even met some school children.
