Last week I made a vocal chop tutorial using just audio (you can check it out here: [ Ссылка ]).
This week, we have a bit more control when we use MIDI for vocal chops.
You can use this vocal chop technique in Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro...whichever!
Here are the steps:
1. (0:45) Import acapella
2. (1:08) Select best warp mode (In Ableton, “Complex Pro”)
3. (1:33) Chop vocals
4. (2:45) Tune chops to middle C
5. (4:55) Bounce or consolidate separate chops
6. (5:33) Drag vocal chops into a sampler
7. (6:14) Set samples to regions across the keyboard
8. (8:21) Tweak octaves up and down
9. (10:20) Add portamento and pitch bends
10. (10:50) Add effects - Season to taste
11. (11:53) Voila!
