How to add a cheap digital frequency readout to a cheap analog RF signal generator.
My implementation of a project first proposed by xraytonyb.
Applies to the following RF signal generator models:
B&K Precision 2005B
Dick Smith Wide Band Signal Generator Model SG-4160B
Elenco SG-9000
Fordham SG-490
Knight Signal Generator 100KHz-150MHz Model K-SG4160B
Lodestar / Instek SG-4160B
Protek B813 (Might be listed as B-813)
Tenma 72-585
The Dick Smith version appears to be the first version, the rest all seem to be made from the same source, just with a different badge on top for the company/model number.
