The season is about to start and this year I'm resolving an issue with the WakeMakers kit for the Moomba Max. These bags don't come with any overflow vent tubing so you end up having to manually "burp" and vent the bags a few times each fill. It also causes a lot of back pressure on the system which on a 2019+ Moomba Max with ballast sensors it tends to cause a false full fill. This will trip the ballast system into thinking it's full while only being about 45% full and will shut off the pumps. This would make me have to manually cycle the fill switch several times during filling.
The addition of this mod will allow the bags to vent on their own and out the thru hull overflow fitting. I will tie the midship bags into the rear bags and likely reroute the stock rear bag overflow vent tube form the bottom to the top like a traditional ballast setup i typically vented.
