Attempts by House Republicans to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in contempt have been put on hold, at least for now. It represents a big win in the GOP's investigation into President Joe Biden's alleged family dealings with foreign nationals. Late last night, Wray had a change of heart and is now allowing all House Oversight Committee members to review a critical document containing unverified bribery allegations against then Vice President Biden. Committee chair James Comer had subpoenaed the document and had planned a hearing to hold the FBI director in contempt. Comer released a statement, reading in part, "Allowing all Oversight Committee members to review this record is an important step toward conducting oversight of the FBI and holding it accountable to the American people."
