Yellow trilliums are native to temperate regions of North America. They commonly grow in some parts of eastern Canada and the southeastern United States during April and May. It means they generally bloom in mid to late spring. It extends from an underground rhizome and can grow about fourteen inches long. The plant grows into beautifully curled or twisted yellow blooms, which possess a mild lemon scent. The scent complements the color as well as the name of this plant.
Its three-petaled flower can easily distinguish it. There is a beautiful whorl of three leaves beneath this three-petaled flower. These leaves are mottled in appearance, which means they possess diverse colors. The colors generally range from light green to dark green with some spots of silver. The overall appearance of a fully mature Yellow Trillium is incredibly eye-catching.
A fully grown ephemeral stand on a long single stalk. The whole division will be explained as staying a whorl of three green leaves at the top of the stalk. Lastly, at the extreme top, a three-petalled yellow flower rests. The petals of the flower are also curvey. This flower is home to six stamens in the center.
