Hey everyone! Hope all of you are well. First, I'd like to apologize for the inactivity; I know I said I'd be posting more frequently, but college is keeping me pretty busy. Never mind that, now it's on to business. Megadeth dropped their new album Dystopia this past January and proceeded to blow everybody's expectations to smithereens, mine included. As I keep listening, the more I consider this album to be an instant classic. The leadoff single from this album shows off Megadeth's revitalized self, complete with the blistering bass break that has become characteristic of their classic sound. From 2016's Dystopia, here's "Fatal Illusion." Enjoy! The song "Fatal Illusion is property of Megadeth, NOT me.
Gear Used:
LTD B-15
Hartke HyDrive 410 Cabinet
Hartke LH500 head
Hartke Bass Attack Pedal
Dunlop .88 mm pick
D'Addario Nickel Set
Don't cry foul about the lack of a Jackson, but the LTD was the only bass I had set up for D tuning, plus I got a great tone out of it paired with the Bass Attack. Strings were a little dead for my liking, but hopefully the spirit was still captured.
