In 1997 the NOAA recorded an ultra low frequency high amplitude sound underwater that came to be known around the world as "The Bloop". For years, many speculated that this sound was made by an as yet unidentified marine animal. Others speculated that the sound was generated by a massive underwater sea creature, like the mythical Kraken or Cthulhu. It took a few years for scientists to finally pinpoint the source of the mysterious sound, and it was most likely attributed to ice calving or bergs bouncing along the sea floor. Still, it remains a fascinating sound and even though science has given us the most likely answer, it's still fun to listen and imagine a giant sea creature lurking deep within the darkest parts of our oceans. So, rev up those imaginations and wonder what undiscovered life lurks within the deepest, darkest waters all across this and world's beyond. Hopefully, you will awaken the next morning after a long and restful night's sleep. Enjoy :)
