Having used the Spyderco Sharp Maker for years, I was curious to try out the recently upgraded Work Sharp Precision Adjust knife sharpener. Work sharp added new stones, and a carrying case to an already versatile sharpener. I am a DIY person and I like maintaining my knives myself. While not for large heavy fixed blade, this compact knife sharpener sets up in less than a minute from the case and is perfect for your every day carry pocket knives and kitchen knives. In this unboxing demo I offer my initial thoughts out of the box, show how easy it is to setup and get going, and offer commentary while doing a full sharpen on a kitchen knife. A follow up video will come along soon, as I’ve now had more time since I shot this video in early October. Please note larger heavier fixed blades, like the Esee Junglas will be too heavy and too thick spined to be used on this. My follow up video will discuss this in detail.
