The Colugo Carrier has 2 sets of velcro tabs that you adjust based on your baby's weight and carry position. The Carrier's waistband includes a handy chart to let you know when you use which set.

Inner Navy tabs:
0-5 months, 7lb minimum front carry, facing in.
6+ months, 12lbs+ front carry, facing out

Outer Grey tabs:
6+ months, 12lbs+, front carry, facing in
6+ months, 12lbs+, back carry, facing in

When adjusting to use the navy velcro, you thread the tab through the small holes at the bottom of the carrier.
