El Galeón is the replica of the 16th century Spanish merchant ship sailed by Pedro Menendez!
First time I have ever been on a ship and this ship was magnificent! "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~Mark Twain ⚓El Galeon is a replica of a 16th-17th century galleon, the only one in the world that sails in present days. El Galeon was built during 2009 to 2010 by Nao Victoria Foundation. El Galeon has covered more than 35,000 miles between 2010 to 2013 along the world's largest seas and oceans, visiting ports in four continents and participating in many culture projects. El Galeon has sailed across the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans, as well as the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Southern China Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Bosporus Strait and the Caribbean Sea. So far, visitors have been able to step on her decks in almost 50 ports all over the world!
