Hyderabadi Chicken Haleem is a very popular dish from among the Hyderabadi Cuisines.It is a rich dish and is the dish of Nawabs made using chicken or mutton along with various pulses, lentils and spices.
It is a wholesome dish, and give you a lot of energy throughout the day.That is the reason it is mostly made during the month of Ramadhan.In this video I shall with you the method of making tasty Haleem but in an easy and simple way.Follow the steps shown in the video one by one and the result is a tasty and delicious Haleem.Believe it it turns out too well just little hard work and result is awesome.

Hyderabadi Chicken Haleem Recipe/How To Make Hyderabadi Chicken Haleem At Home/Easy Murgh ki Haleem
INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 1/2 kilogram boneless(2 or 3 bones is no big deal, you can add as it gives taste)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 3/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 3 teaspoon
Yogurt - 200 grams
Lemon - 1
Coriander leaves - a bunch
Mint leaves - a bunch
Green chillies - 5 to 6
Homemade Garam masala powder - 2 teaspoons ( recipe link is given below)
Split red gram - 1 tablespoon
Split Red lentils - 1 tablespoon
Split green gram - 1 tablespoon
Split black gram - 1 1/2 tablespoon
Bengal gram - 1 tablespoon
Broken wheat - 2 cups
Almonds - 10
Clarified butter - 5 to 6 tablespoons
Onion - 4
Cashewnuts - 30 gram
Oil - for deep frying
Salt - as required
Tailed pepper - 10
Cloves - 5
Cardamom - 3
Black cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon sticks - 2
METHOD
1.Marinate chicken for 1 hour with
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 3 teaspoon
Yogurt - 200 grams or 1 cup
Lemon - 1
Coriander leaves - few
Mint leaves - few
Green chillies - 5 to 6
Homemade Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
2.In a pan add a teaspoon clarified butter and roast
Split red gram - 1 tablespoon
Split Red lentils - 1 tablespoon
Split green gram - 1 tablespoon
Split black gram - 1 1/2 tablespoon
Bengal gram - 1 tablespoon
Almonds - 10
Then grind it into a coarse powder
3.In a big pan add broken wheat and the ground pulses and lentils, then add 1 litre of water
and let it cook till smooth.
4.Cut 3 medium sized onions into thin slices and deep fry them till golden brown.
5.Fry cashews also and keep aside.
6.In a pan add some oil and fry
Tailed pepper - 10
Cloves - 5
Cardamom - 3
Black cumin - 1/2
Cinnamon sticks - 2
7.Then add one onion cut into slices when it turns golden brown ,to it add ginger garlic paste and saute.
8.Now add the marinated chicken to it and mix well, let it cook till it turns tender.
9.Mash the chicken and the pulse mixture also.
10.In the mashed pulses add chicken mashed,clarified butter,mint leaves ,coriander leaves,crushed fried onions
Garam masala powder,black pepper powder.
11.Mix it well mash it and cook for 10 minutes.
12.Garnish the haleem with pure ghee,fried onions,cashews,coriander and mint leaves.
13.Serve it hot with lemon pieces.
