Adhesive capsulitis or frozen shoulder is a musculoskeletal disorder frequently encountered in the primary care setting. It is reported to affect up to 5% of the population and frequently described as self-limiting. Despite this adhesive capsulitis has the potential to cause substantial pain and functional disability in many people. This webinar will outline the current research on pathology and diagnosis as well as discuss current management strategies which arguably should be stage dependent. Presented by Sarah Walmsley, a musculoskeletal physiotherapist currently working as both a clinician in private practice and an academic at the University of Newcastle.
