We loved catching up with Jason Borg to hear what he has been up to since graduating from the Australian Paramedical College.
Jason has been working in a paid position with St John WA since early 2021 and he is absolutely loving it. You can hear in the above video that he is working as an Event Medic for both community events and private functions.
He started as a volunteer with St John WA and felt a great sense of reward from each day, so he decided to continue his studies in paramedical science to be able to seek formal employment. He couldn’t afford to take time off work, so the flexible learning from Australian Paramedical College really appealed to him.
Jason loved the APC Diploma because “I loved the content, I loved the way it was being delivered, I loved being able to do it all in my own time”
Working full time, studying full time and running a household became challenging at times, but the support he received from the college really helped to get him through.
“It was the time of my life.” Jason says when he is referring to his Clinical Workshops at the Gold Coast campus.
Thank you Jason, for taking the time to speak with us, we’ve loved hearing about your career journey and congratulations on securing a job that you love!
