Weapons of terrorists were recovered by the Indian Army and Police after five Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were gunned down in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam. Operation Samnoo was carried out by the Indian Army during the 2nd day of the terrorist encounter in Kulgam. According to Kashmir Zone Police, the encounter broke out at the DH Pora area in Samno village of Kulgam. Indian Army’s 34 Rashtriya Riffles, 9 Para (elite special forces unit), Police, and CRPF carried out the operation.
