The Butterfly is like a beautiful woman longing for love and in her quest she moves from rose to rose, looking for meaning. In the process she explores the corners of her soul, stumbling on old thorns, learning new approaches, finding a renewed voice and expression that essentially rebirths her evolved spirit.
Her Garden is paradise where her free spirit roams. The place where despite differences that exist amongst the flowers and components of the garden, she finds her space.
Much like the Butterfly, Romie Rome and Scorch Music emerge for the 2016 Carnival Festival, with a refreshing expression of freedom and love for Soca music and its environment. Carnival and Soca music, like the Rose Garden, is the zen of Caribbean people, bringing a sense of freedom and revelry to their lives.
The Rose Garden riddim was inspired by Romie Rome's tenure in the industry, experiences and teachings of the past, which he fused with the modern ear and flair of the Scorch Music factory.
The Rose Garden Riddim: Out of the Old, Birth the New.
