This is a great trick you can use in your solos.
Just repeat your phrase in a lower or higher octave.
This way, you make your solos more melodic and more fun to listen to.
(And also, it's a very nice way to learn the fretboard)
Be careful not to overdo it!
I've written this exercise so you can work on this concept.
Some of the repeated phrases are a little altered for continuity reasons. (For landing on the right note in the next chord).
This guitar solo's chords are from the well-known Jazz standard "All Of Me."
