Two weeks after having collarbone surgery, I came to Nova Scotia, one of Canada's Maritime provinces. I made a special trip to Halifax to get the staples from my surgical wound removed.

I wasn't sure what to expect in a Halifax hospital or clinic, and I can promise you that I was nervous about what it would feel like to have staples removed after surgery. Plus I was about to find out whether my skin had rotted underneath a wet bandage that was on me for two weeks... Once the procedure was done (I will show you what it looks like) I celebrated...!
