Alfred Korzybski, General Semantics, Breaking Down The Aristotelian Laws of Thought.
Part 2 in a series on General Semantics and Alfred Korzysbki. This week we take a look at the problems the so-called Aristotelean Laws of Thought, our own take on how the cultural linguistic and abstracting feature contributes to personal and civilisational "unsanity".
This being only one element of Korzybski's entire work, and not intended as a detailed overview of general semantics and Alfred Korzybski.
Instead, in part 2, we focus on the the so-called laws of thought and reason, and why one should be cautious when using them about the external world, and internal world....is there even a difference?
Can you hack it? Yes. Would people be less insane if they had an idea of how they think? Yes...
The final Part 3 will come in the next fortnight.
