Aluva: The special investigation team is interrogating North Paravoor Circle Inspector Crispin Sam in connection with his alleged involvement in Varappuzha custodial death case. He has been made the fifth accused in the case. The interrogation takes place in Aluva Police Club under the leadership of IG. It is indicated that the CI may be arrested soon. There are allegations including forging of documents and illegal detention raised against Crispin Sam. Earlier, four police officers including Varappuzha SI were arrested in connection with the death of Devaswompadam native Sreejith in police custody. Three officers of Rural Tiger Force were first arrested in connection with the case.
