DepEd Usec. Jesus Mateo says the agency is willing to listen to the private sector’s sentiments, but certain things are non-negotiable because they cannot compromise the quality of education. This comes after the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (COCOPEA) requested less regulation from the DepEd.
