Hi! My name is Abhinav and I am a UK based, Indian, documentary filmmaker. In the last 5 years I have travelled to different nations to meet and spend time with Romani people. A lot of people doubt that they are originally from India but there are lots of historical evidence that proves it.

Ever since I first met them in Ukraine I have fallen in love with their community spirit. After producing a few documentaries about them in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania, I recently went to Sweden to meet a Roma family. In this film, you will learn how the Romanis were treated when they first landed in Sweden in the 1500s and how their life has been so far in Scandinavia. You will also learn how along with the jews, Romani people were executed by the Nazis.
