In this video, we'll show you how to add an Audio section on a web page, and then use the SounCloud embed code to add your track or playlist in Websites + Marketing.
I'm in Edit Site mode on a Walt Disney World blog site called Just One Moon and One Golden Sun.
This is their audio page. They want to share a playlist of music found in the theme parks.
That way, you're never away from the magic. To start, we'll click "Add Section."
In the sections panel on the right, click Audio.
There are a couple of player layouts available. Let's use the larger one.
Nice, our placeholder player is displayed in the preview on the left and we're ready to customize it.
As with most section types, you can always change the layout and the accent color.
I have SoundCloud open on another tab in my browser. So I'm going to hop over there and grab the embed code for the playlist.
Here's the playlist in SoundCloud.
We'll click Share, select Embed, and click in code field.
I'll copy the code with a keyboard shortcut Ctrl C on Windows or Command C on a Mac.
And with the code copied to my clipboard, we'll hop back to Website Builder.
Click in the audio URL field to replace the default URL.
To paste in the SoundCloud embed code, windows users press Ctrl V or if you're on a Mac, Command V.
And check it out, our playlist is now on the page, very nice.
This is the title for the section. So let's go ahead and add the title WDW music.
Next, let's add a brief description of the playlist.
Remember, most text fields in Website Builder allow you to format your text, add bullets or numbers, and even hyperlinks if you want to.
Everything's in there so we'll click Done and as always check out the preview.
And there it is.
