To begin I added a video to my timeline and want to add a film grain effect.
I also downloaded this video to be my grain effect and put it in track above my clip.
You can download such videos from Pixabay or Pexels websites for free.
With your grain video selected, go to effect controls panel and set blend mode to screen.
If the length of the grain video is not enough, hold down the alt key and drag it to create duplicates from it.
