A DC Tours & Network Southeast railtour from Waterloo to Okehampton with a variety of traction: 60040 & 33114 from Waterloo to Salisbury, where the 60 was changed for 20169 & 20092. From there the train continued to Exeter St Davids where 37092 was added to the rear before continuing to Okehampton, then back to Exeter St Davids.
On the return journey 33020 & 33052 joined 33114 as far as
Woking where all three were removed in favour of 33035 & 33108 for the final run in to Waterloo.
Also seen in the morning at Waterloo are 33047 waiting to leave Waterloo on a Waterloo - Exeter service, an unidentified 33 on a ballast train in the Eurostar terminal and 47712 arriving with a train from Exeter and in the evening 47712 again at the blocks next to 33035.
This is a good example of how UK railtours used to be, with nine different locomotives on the train, something that would be far too expensive and paperwork intensive to be contemplated these days.
Happier times!
