Will the Rapture happen before the tribulation or after? 1st Thessalonians 4:16 says that the Rapture happens right after the Resurrection of the dead. So, if we can locate the timing of the resurrection, then we can locate the timing of the Rapture! In John 6:40, Jesus says the Resurrection happens on the Last Day. Revelation 20:4-5 gives us more information. It says, "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the Word of God. They had not worshipped the Beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or in their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ, a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Here, we see that the 1st Resurrection includes people who have gone through the Tribulation and had victory over The Beast. This lines up perfectly with Matthew 24:29- 31, which says that Jesus returns after The Tribulation to gather His people. So the Resurrection and the Rapture can't be before The Tribulation, but after God bless you guys!
