It’s still under construction, so I can’t really get close to it. It stands on the 24.5-acre site previously occupied by the old El Rancho Hotel and Casino and the Algiers Hotel.

🥳 So today, I’m here to talk about LIV Beach, one of the new pool parties opening at Fontainebleau. There will also be a LIV Nightclub like the one at Fontainebleau in Miami, founded by Dave Grutman. It’s been around since 2008 and is one of the most famous clubs on the planet.

🎶 Here’s what I heard from the proverbial grapevine, although I can’t confirm it. I hear they got Tiësto, and they might be doing a DJ share with Tiësto with TAO Group Hospitality. I also heard that Zedd is leaving Resorts World. That’s where AYU Dayclub and Zouk Nightclub are. He’s been there for the last three years, so, who knows, they may have grabbed him too! I also heard through the rumor mill that Zouk and AYU might have picked up Illenium and John Summit and that Alesso might be going to a different venue. A lot of shaking up with the DJs, but again, all this is only hearsay; I don’t know them anything as facts. But what I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty is that LIV needs to book some major talent. While they’ve got the name and obviously a nice hotel, it’s on the north end of the Strip.

🤗 The TAO Group, Zouk, AYU, and Encore Beach, no one is going to roll over. Everyone will still be doing their best to bring in their big spenders and the general admission crowd to their venues, so LIV will have to work hard to get that kind of crowd through their doors. There have been several pools and nightclubs in Vegas that have failed, like Kaos at the Palms Resort, which is now Soak Pool. They tried to do a big thing with Kascade and Marshmello and some other big hitters as far as DJs go, and they still only lasted 9 months. They had a nice pool and club combo and failed. There was another club just north of here called SLS, and they had Foxtail Dayclub and Life Nightclub, and 9 months later, that also failed. So, clubs and pools out here can fail.

🙌 Even though LIV has a big name in Miami, you never know. I hope they don’t fail. I want them to be successful, but they have to come prepared, spend some money, and book some big hitters. I’ve heard they’ve pretty much got it covered. Let’s hope they deliver on what they promised to do with their big grand opening on New Year’s Eve, which I’m excited about. Brandon, one of my buddies who I opened Hakkasan with, is going to be the director here. I’ve already been in touch with him, so I will be working with LIV Beach and the Nightclub. I don’t have a ton of details; I don’t know what it’s going to look like; it’s not even fully built yet. All I have is a rendering. It’s due to open in the Spring of 2024, likely with a huge kick-off party with big-name talent.
