Of course, one can argue that a pure electric or a pure acoustic rendition might've been more pure and there certainly is a fair amount of contenders from both sides, but in my opinion, this one combined the best of both worlds. Starting out in a slow, mellow, acoustic way with Richie already adding bluesy licks on his electric guitar to the build-up in the solo where the full band joins in and takes the song home, this one is nothing but spectacular.
Unfortunately, there's only a VCD source of this around. At least I was able to find the original old VCD file (and not one of the countless DVD upscales like I had also done at one point) and worked with both AI technique and manual remastering to squeeze more quality out of it. On close-up shots, it looks quite good at times though you can obviously see and hear the restrictions of the compression.
