In-flight cockpit and aerial refueling footage of a U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey and C-130 Air Tanker during the 75th Commemorative Flyover for the 10 crew members of WWII U.S. B-17 Flying Fortress "Mi Amigo". The flyover was conducted over Sheffield, England on February 22, 2019. The badly damaged Mi Amigo was returning from a bombing run over Nazi occupied Denmark on February 22, 1944 when it crashed into a wooded area near Sheffield, killing all 10 crew members. An eyewitness account says he thinks the crew could have saved themselves, because the plane circled 3 times over a green field where children were playing. But as the Mi Amigo's one last engine failed, the pilot chose to avoid the green field. Instead he crashed into the woods.
