One of the most fun things you can do is catch smallmouth in the river. They fight hard, are gorgeous and the river adds another challenge. In this trip we had very dark water and the weather cooled off a ton, making this a tough fishing day. But we trusted the process and eventually figured out a pattern. This is a great way to fish, especially if you've got a partner. Watch the vide to see what baits we used and how we caught some river smallmouth!
