Ingredients:-
For Kadhi:-
* Chickpea lentil(चना दाल) - 2 tbsp
* Toor dal(तुअर दाल) - 2 tbsp
* Urad dal(उरद दाल) - 2 tbsp
* Fenugreek seeds(मेथी दाना) - 1/4 tsp
* Cumin seeds(जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
* Cinnamon(दाल चीनी) - 1 small stick
* Cloves(लौंग) - 4-5 pieces
* Black pepper(काली मिर्च) - 10-12 pieces
* Water(पानी) - 3 glasses
* Oil(तेल) - 1-1.5 tbsp
* Cumin(जीरा) - 1 tsp
* Mustard seeds(राइ) - 1 tsp
* Dry red chili(सूखी लाल मिर्च) - 2
* Asafoetida(हींग) - 1/4 tsp
* Ginger(अदरक)
* Green chili(हरी मिर्च) - 2-3
* Curry leaves(करि पत्ता)
* Turmeric powder(हल्दी पाउडर) - 1/2 tsp
* Kashmiri Red Chili Powder(कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 tsp
* Salt(नमक) - as per taste
* Green coriander(हरा धनिया)
* Lemon juice(निम्बू का रस)
For Salad:-
* Onion(प्याज) - 2
* Cucumber(खीरा) - 1
* Tomatoes(टमाटर) - 2
* Lemon juice(निम्बू का रस)
* Green chili(हरी मिर्च) - as per taste
* Green coriander(हरा धनिया)
* Salt(नमक)
* Chat masala(चाट मसाला) - 1/2 tsp
* Namkeen Sev(नमकीन सेव)
For Tadka:-
* Oil(तेल)
* Mustard seeds(राइ) - 1/2 tsp
* Curry leaves(करि पत्ता)
* Coriander leaves(हरा धनिया)
RECIPE:
Take some Chana Dal, Tuar Dal and Urad Dal. Wash the Lentils (Dals) and wipe them with a cloth then roast the Dals. While roasting the Dals, also roast the Fenugreek Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Cinnamon Stick, Cloves and Black pepper with Dals and then turn off the flame and let them for cooling down. Grind it in powdered form and then sieve it. Put some Water in the powdered Dals and make the batter.
Take a big pan, put some Oil, Cumin Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Dry Whole Red Chilies and Asafoetida in it. After roasting the spices, put some grated Ginger, some long chopped Green Chilies and some Curry Leaves.
After roasting all these ingredients, turn the flame slow and put some Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder and then put the ready mixture of Dals in it. Stir it continuously till it starts boiling. Put some Salt in it and boil it for 15 mins on slow flame by covering it. When the curry gets cooked, put some Coriander Leaves and Lime Juice in it. Serve it hot.
Make the Khaman Dhoklas and crush them. Put some Oil in a pan then put some Mustard Seeds and Curry Leaves in it and put the Tadka on the crushed Khaman Dhokla and also put some Coriander Leaves.
For Salad, take a bowl, put some finely chopped Cucumber, Onion, Tomatoes, Green Chilies, Coriander Leaves, Salt, Chaat Masala and some Lime Juice in it.
For serving, take a plate, put the crushed Khaman Dhokla in it then put some Nylon Sev, Coriander Leaves, Lemon Slice and round Papdi (Snack) on it. Then keep the Salad on one side and put the Curry on the other side. In this way it will get ready to serve.
