The Magnificent Seven tech stocks have played a big part in recent weeks' market rallies, but as these leaders began to lag, could cracks be beginning to form in the foundations of this Big Tech group?
Piper Sandler Managing Director Craig Johnson, alongside other experts, reduces the Magnificent Seven to "the Fantastic Four," noting declines in Apple (AAPL) and Tesla's (TSLA) share prices.
"They're no longer participating along with Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), so this is a market that needs to pause and consolidate. But again, we think it can still move higher throughout the end of the year," Johnson tells Yahoo Finance, later naming the Fantastic Four winners emerging from the Magnificent Seven.
