Boundary conditions for normal component of magnetic field at the interface between two media.
Consider an interface seperating two media 1 and 2 as shown in fig. Let B(1) and B(2) are the magnetic fields in the media 1 and 2 respectively.
Now construct a small pill box shaped surface at the interface of two media enclosing the area 'S' of the interface.
According to Gauss's law in magnetism the surface integral of magnetic field is zero.
Thus, the normal components of magnetic field are continuous across the interface between two media.
