The Snettisham, or Wader Spectacular, is one of the highlights of the Norfolk birding & wildlife calendar. This special event occurs due to huge numbers of waders (mostly Knots) being forced off mudflats at Snettisham beach by the incoming tide which creates a breathtaking scene as the great mass of swirling birds whirl around together forming extraordinary 'murmurations' in order to find a new resting spot.
This video was taken during one of the highest tides of the year (7m+) which coincided with sunrise. It's my first attempt at a wildlife video and my first 4k video. Taken with a Canon R5 & RF 100-500 lense.
