Deputies from the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office seized over 6,000 fentanyl pills and over a pound of methamphetamine in two traffic stops on Monday.
With the help of K9 Deputy Lulu, a deputy stopped a vehicle near Smelterville around 1 p.m. and located about 1 pound of methamphetamine and about 6,000 fentanyl pills, according to the Sheriff's Office.
In another traffic stop around 7:30 p.m., deputies say they stopped a car on I-90 that had visible drugs inside.
The Sheriff's Office arrested 64-year-old Micahel J. Shivers, who had four pounds of marijuana, 13 grams of methamphetamine, and other drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, according to the SCSO.
