Kordell Jones was shot and killed just after 6 am on March 7, 2023 as he exited a rear bedroom window completely naked carrying a firearm when after police detonated a device that blew the front door off the Charles Street home. Police were searching for two stolen guns at the residence, neither of which were located at the home, according to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court. The 7-count complaint alleges wrongful death, negligent training and supervision, false imprisonment, false arrest, assault and battery, malicious prosecution, and violation federal rules of civil procedure.
