Investigations carried out by the National University Hospital (NUH) following the death of a couple’s unborn child found that while there were no lapses in clinical care processes, the hospital could have improved the way it communicates with its patients, said Dr Janil Puthucheary in Parliament on Tuesday (April 5).

He added that the hospital has addressed this gap and instituted changes to their processes to ensure that relevant information is provided in a timely manner.
