Mike Tyson famously bit Evander Holyfield's ear in the middle of a boxing match.
"Anger" is why he did it, Holyfiled speculated in an appearance on FOX 5 New York's morning show Good Day New York.
As the youngest of nine children to illiterate parents, Holyfield was the first to be able to provide for the family.
But with little guidance as his career took off, Holyfield made many mistakes, mostly as he tried to help others.
Still living in Atlanta, Holyfield says his post-career days are spent teaching children not to make the mistakes he did.
"These things don't have to happen to you. You learn from other people's mistakes. I have the opportunity to teach the kids," said Holyfield.
