Well this didn't go quite as planned for prosecutors.
After the State's proffered experts were blocked from testifying the State was desperate to have as many people as possible take the stand and say it was Trayvon Martin screaming on the 911 audio.
Adding to their problems, not only did their "expert-ettes" (that's my name for an expert who is nuttier than squirrel droppings) get bounced, but Tracy Martin could not take the stand either.*
So the State was forced to call half-brother, step-bro Jahvaris ("Jah var s") to the stand to concur with Sybrina. The trouble with his testimony was that he told a reporter in a March 2012 interview that he listened to the audio and did not think it was Trayvon. Of course, after getting coached by attorney Crump he then said it was Trayvon.
* The State could not call Tracy Martin because he would be impeached. The defense was ready to have five or so police officers testify that they watched Tracy Martin as he listened to the 911 audio, and he then said "That's not Trayvon."
And it would probably come in that it was only AFTER talking to attorney Crump that Tracy changed to saying "That is Trayvon."
