This is a common misinterpretation alot of christians don’t understand or are not aware of the full extent of meaning like protestants and that orthodox and catholic do believe this but the correct view is that we are saved by grace through faith to make us do the works God made us to do because we do because we love him in order to be fully validated into salvation Rather than how people think that people are doing works to enter heaven that’s completely wrong and no one believes that .
