Our faculty and students are leading the way in areas such as Applied Electromagnetics & RF Circuits; Computer Vision; Control Systems; Embedded Systems; Engineering Education Research; Integrated Circuits & VLSI; MEMS & Microsystems; Network, Communication, and Information Systems; Optics & Photonics; Plasma Science and Engineering; Power & Energy; Quantum Science and Engineering; Robotics and Autonomous Systems; Signal & Image Processing and Machine Learning; Solid State & Nanotechnology.

Our faculty and students are working to improve health care, the environment, sustainability, security, energy, and transportation. ECE offers an undergraduate majors in electrical engineering and computer engineering and a minor in electrical engineering. The graduate program offers a doctoral / Ph.D. degree, Master of Science degree, and a Master of Engineering degree.
