While we know that it largely comes down to torque in a motor, we were eager to see what different wattage produced in two otherwise similar e-bikes would yield as far as results.

We took the Tower Beach Bum and Blix Sol Eclipse to our beloved Hell Hole to get an answer once and for all about how much wattage matters when climbing hills on e-bikes.

Both bikes are cruisers, similarly spec'd, and similarly priced. The results were pretty interesting to us in the end.
