Welcome to another episode of Underworld Diary! In this upcoming episode, we explore the intriguing story of Stefano Magaddino, a significant figure in Buffalo's mafia scene. From his humble beginnings in Sicily to his rise to power in the American mafia, Magaddino's life was marked by violence, betrayal, and ambition. Despite facing numerous assassination attempts and legal troubles, he managed to establish the Buffalo Crime Family's dominance across Upstate New York and into Canada during the prohibition era. However, his reign came to an end amidst internal dissent and betrayal, leading to his retirement from the underworld and eventual passing in 1974.
