• Wisdom is a secret of lifting and favour. Everywhere you see divine wisdom at work, people are lifted and favoured... Genesis 41 vs 39 - 41, 1 Samuel 18 vs 5, 18.
THREE CRITICAL WISDOM FOR SUCCESSFUL LIVING.
(1) RELATIONSHIP WISDOM:
(2) TIME-USE WISDOM:
(3) FINANCIAL WISDOM: Note this three things about money;
(1) Money is key to answers in life. Life can be full of questions and problems where money is in short supply... Ecclesiastes 10 vs 19b.
(2) Money is a determinant of character and ultimately the destiny of people... 1 Timothy 6 vs 10.
(3) Both the love of money and the lack of money are situations of concern for life and destiny... Matthew 6 vs 24.
SIX FACTS REGARDING MONEY.
• Money management is clue to life management. How well a person can manage money and not miss road will determine how well he can manage his life and destiny without missing road. Poverty and bankruptcy have many causes but one cause of poverty and bankruptcy can be the miss-management of life as a whole.
• More impact can be created with the presence of money than with the absence of money. More good can be done with money than without money.
• The presence of money does not guarantee abundance and the absence of money is not the reason for poverty.
• Habits sustains wealth and habits also sustains poverty. There are things people do to make money multiply and things people do to multiply poverty.
• Money travels in the direction of wise managers of money and money avoids the ways of unwise managers of the same... Mathew 13 vs 12.
• Attitude towards money and actions with money can determine a persons eternal destiny... 1 Timothy 6 vs 17 - 18.
DIVINE WISDOM WAYS OF DEALING WITH MONEY;
(1) Never allow money to take the place of God in your life; Don't live for things, live for God... Matthew 6 vs 24, 33.
(2) Possess vision for supernatural supplies; Provision will travel in the direction of vision. Until the vision is clear, the provision is not there. Avoid the survival mode. Avoid just making a living... Proverbs 29 vs 18.
Visions:
(A) How much money do you want?
(B) What do you want to do for God and mankind?
(3) Focus on investment, not expenditure; Focus not on how to spend money but how to multiply money. Money in your hands is not the end but the means to an end... Luke 19 vs 20 - 22.
(4) Produce something; Produce goods or service that your world will pay you for... Genesis 1 vs 28.
(5) Avoid get-rich-quick schemes. Whatever is too good to be true is probably not true... Proverbs 13 vs 11 (NLT).
(6) Own money but never allow money to own you. You can use money but never allow money to use you... Luke 16 vs 13.
(7) Obey the Covenant of supernatural supply... Genesis 8 vs 22, 2 Corinthians 9 vs 6 - 8.
(8) Avoid the lifestyle of borrowing and Indeptedness. When you borrow, you are spending money that you don't have yet, so that when you are meant to have money you have already spent it before it arrive. It's emptying the future into the present so that when you arrive into the future it's empty... Deuteronomy 15 vs 6, Proverbs 22 vs 7.
(9) Build your business first; place impact ahead of comfort. Public Impact is superior to personal comfort... Proverbs 24 vs 27.
(10) Maintain financial integrity. Financial integrity is the door to financial authority... Job 1 vs 1, Genesis 39 vs 5 - 6.
(11) Don't make money the basis of life decisions and actions; When you do that, you set up yourself for disaster. Don't let everything revolved on how much money you are going to make. Love for God, love for man, righteousness and justice should be the basis of our decisions... Matthew 7 vs 12, Mark 12 vs 30 - 31.
(12) Invest in the areas of divine direction, personal potentials, passions, affection or knowledge... 2 Chronicles 26 vs 10.
(13) Avoid waste at all cost. Waste and wealth are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed... John 6 vs 11 - 13, Proverbs 18 vs 9.
(14) Maintain a savings culture. Don't spend everything; pit some money aside no matter how little... Deuteronomy 28 vs 8, Proverbs 21 vs 20.
(15) Be Faithful, Reliable, Dependable and be Constant... Proverbs 28 vs 20.
